Wayne County 2010 Jackson Day Banquet
The Wayne County Democratic Party proudly presented the 155th annual Jackson Day banquet on February 20, 2010
While the 2010 Wayne County Jackson Day Banquet didn't feature Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, who made a special appearance each of the past two banquets, there was still a number of prominent Democratic candidates on hand at Memories Party & Conference Center.
Giving very inspiring speeches were Yvette McGee Brown, Strickland's choice for lieutenant governor; Ohio Treasurer Kevin Boyce, who is up for re-eletion in 2010; Maryellen O'Shaunessey, candidate for Secretary of State; and David Pepper, candidate for State Auditor.
The final speaker of the evening was congressman John Boccieri (OH-16), who gave a very powerful speech, raising the crowd to its feet on a couple of occasions.
