WAYNE DEMOCRATIC NEWSLETTER...................APRIL 2008...........................
2008 Jackson Day dinner was well attended by a large group of enthusiastic Democrats to hear Governor Ted Strickland, Lt. Governor Lee Fisher and State Senator John Boccieri, candidate for Congress District 16. (Regula finally quit). John Boccieri has been a fighter for our country and will be a fighter in Congress for the rights of all the people. We are honored to be the first county where Gov Strickland & Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher appeared together at any county dinner.
We need to recognize Dr. Marchelle Suppan, whom the chair recommended for appointment to the Ohio State Medical Board. She was appointed to that important position by Governor Strickland in February 2008. Dr. Suppan was the most highly qualified candidate for this prestigious position. She is on the staff at Orrville Dunlap Hospital. CONGRATULATIONS, DR "SHELLEE" SUPPAN...
